AMEX Westpac Altitude programme ends 24 Feb 2021

I've got the Altitude Black card and AmEx Platinum. I've been having points transferred to Altitude points (not airlines). The new deal is a backward step for me. When converting to a gift card, the earn rate is currently $11,300 spend per $100 voucher. The new scheme makes that $13,333 spend...

Westpac dumps AMEX - changes points earn on MC

My offer was for an Altitude Black card with 40,000 Altitude points (not FF points). I've taken a screenshot just in case.

Westpac dumps AMEX - changes points earn on MC

I should add to my above post that I found another combination that better suits me. They have an AmEx Platinum card with a $49pa fee. It earns less points (2 per dollar) than the black ($3 per dollar) but the lower annual fee is a better result me. With the Westpac Altitude Black and the AmEx...

Westpac dumps AMEX - changes points earn on MC

I've been a member here for 13 years but haven't posted for many years. I previously had the standard Altitude card and when Westpac did the previous round of point revisions and introduced points caps they were quite detrimental to me. They sent me a letter at the time and offered me an...

    Deceptive 12000 Anz offer

It seems that the 12,000 points expired at the end of April and now the current offer is 10,000 points :( I certainly take the point about them hiding the annual fee - very poor. From what I read, their "rewards" fee ($55pa) is per card too. Ouch.

Can I get a cheap or free membership?

Thanks for the suggestion. In my case, my aim is to try and save a bit of money. At $685, its really a bit rich for me. Thanks for a useful tip. In my case, I place a fair bit of value in being able to accumulate points from a credit card so this is not for me.

Can I get a cheap or free membership?

That's certainly an idea. I have relatives in the UK. I've got no plans to visit them but they would gladly forward any mail to me. Its certainly not my preferred way of getting a discount membership. I'd prefer something more above board if possible. Does anyone else have any ideas?

Can I get a cheap or free membership?

Both my wife and I want to join QFF. With the price being $82.50each ($165), I'd obviously like to reduce or elimate this cost. A while ago, I recall that Westpac were waiving the fee for Altitude customers. This doesn't seem to be available any more. Does anyone know of any ways to get a...
