Probably wasn’t clear, purchased an economy fare on BA and upgraded online in advance. When I filed missing flight claim tit was declined as it was a “classic reward” apparently, when I called I got the original SCs for economy but refused the business SCs

Agree, until recently it has been fine. Most recent upgraded flight credited as 0 noting as classic rewards and when I called I got the usual you only get the original sc for upgraded flights blah blah. Gave up arguing after 20 mins.
