No status recognition or lounge access on Delta domestic

Whilst I've never been outright refused entry, it's pretty common that the lounge at SFO has trouble understanding that the number to use is the velocity number and not the Visa card number. This is enough of an issue that unless VA help DL educate their staff I'm sure others will think about...

    Priority luggage rant

Definitely not just you. I've often experienced this with VA. Priority tagged luggage on Qantas consistently comes out first, but on VA it is very hit or miss. Did you have a connecting flight into LAX?

    Delta Velocity benefits

My experience has been that luggage has been free of charge when the flight is connected to an international flight (ie, out of or into LAX). For other flights I haven't received any luggage allowance or discounts. If you're booked on DL to LAX then LAX->Australia on DL or VA make sure you...

VA Lounge access - SYD to Fiji

I've used the NZ lounge in Sydney for a flight to Nadi as Platinum with no problems.

Anyone else frustrated with retro claims?? I've been waiting 10 months!!

I've also had a pretty poor response. This week I finally received SC + points for flights last September. Those were flights that had my Velocity number in at time of booking and were actually codeshare with VA. I had to send scans of boarding passes and wait >2 months.

Hopeless Virgin Australia experience at LAX

Alaska Airlines are moving out of T3 in March (not sure what this means for the lounge which VA use). I haven't found any dates about VA moving - a flight I have in March still shows T3 for VA2.

Hopeless Virgin Australia experience at LAX

I was on a connecting flight. Virgin America won't issue onboards boarding passes for VA2. They arrive into the same terminal that VA leave from, so you have to queue up upon arrival at LAX (airside) for a boarding pass. They had 2 service desks with no queue for any sort of priority. I've...

Hopeless Virgin Australia experience at LAX

Has anyone flown through T3 at LAX lately onto a Virgin Australia flight? I've gone through a few times and the last couple have been hopeless. This time the queue was 30 minutes to get a boarding pass. No apologies from staff, and no lounge invite. Despite the boarding pass printing Gold...
