Thanks, I’ll stick with Krisflyer and what I’m used to!

Qatar award availability from Aus Q

Hi all, I’m a newbie with redeeming on Qatar but I have some AA miles I thought I’d try using to book J awards on Qatar from PER to Athens (or even Perth - Doha. I’ve used the BA search tool (and Qantas) and cant find any J awards at all searching 1yr out. I’m assuming they just don’t release...

Virgin Money Flyer 60,000/High Flyer 120,000, $129 flight voucher, annual fee $64/289

Has anybody had any success in getting a supp card for no extra charge? Seems ridiculous that they want $89 for one!

    UpgradeMe pricing and success

Just had a successful bid PER-MEL for $300 (A330) approved approx 72hrs prior to departure.

SQ 787-10 to PER from May 2018

Yeah they've had the 772 with 1-2-1 for a while now on SQ213 and 226. Don't really get to have a nap on them anymore with our little one haha, but the extra space is nice.

SQ 787-10 to PER from May 2018

I'm booked onto SQ226 and SQ213 later this year so will miss out on trying the new 787 J. But the 772 with 1-2-1 is a pretty good product for the route so makes sense that they replace the regional 2-2-2 first. Am glad that Perth is getting some love!

    SQ Tips, Trips and Tales

Thanks for your reply. Ended up calling today and whilst there was a bit of hair pulling, wasn't too bad and had a helpful agent who managed to get everything changed for us. Flying the hopefully new A380 J SIN-HKG (if current schedule doesn't change) and the A350 HKG-SIN (only one with 3xJ...

    SQ Tips, Trips and Tales

Curious as to any recent experience with how much difficulty I can expect to experience with the call centre for the following: Have a return saver (booked pre-changes) J award PER-SIN later in the year (stupidly booked as a return and not 2x one-ways like I normally do in a lapse of judgement...

Virgin Money Flyer 60,000/High Flyer 120,000, $129 flight voucher, annual fee $64/289

I did similar, have received the $129 voucher and will be using it shortly and then plan on cancelling prior to next annual fee. The non-Amex points earn is decent though, but will be moving on to another card as well!

NAB QFF Signature Card, 100K Bonus Points, $395 fee, $3000 spend (update Nov-17)

I think this might be one of the next cards that I churn. I focus my points earn on velocity/krisflyer as the redemptions suit me more, but the 100,000 qantas points for no annual fee (on the home loan choice package) seems like a hard deal to pass up!

    Citibank Credit card increase.

I've held my Signature for years since it's fee free, but the points devaluation on earn / transfer rates has got me thinking whether it's worth cancelling it if required to free up credit limit for sign-on bonus applications going forward. I have a good credit score and haven't been declined...

Virgin Money Flyer 60,000/High Flyer 120,000, $129 flight voucher, annual fee $64/289

Well my final month of bonus points posted today, so managed to get the full 120k points with the high flyer :) Now I'll have to decide whether to renew the card when the next annual fee is due..it's a much better earn as a daily non-Amex card (compared to my Citi signature), but obviously has...

Virgin Money Flyer 60,000/High Flyer 120,000, $129 flight voucher, annual fee $64/289

Got my statement today and first lot of bonus points posted. Should be on track to get the full 120k, so pretty pleased with that.

Virgin Money Flyer 60,000/High Flyer 120,000, $129 flight voucher, annual fee $64/289

I don't understand either! Was hoping somebody else would haha. What you said is my impression; I have messaged them back to clarify. Addit: Their reply didn't clear anything up, unfortunately: "We confirm that you will receive 120,000 points over the three months period of the promotion...

Virgin Money Flyer 60,000/High Flyer 120,000, $129 flight voucher, annual fee $64/289

I couldn't edit my above post to add the below. I contacted Virgin Money to ask when my statement date would be and got this reply: "We advise that your account billing cycle is every 12th of the month. In this regard, your initial statement will be generated on 12 November 2017. On the other...

Virgin Money Flyer 60,000/High Flyer 120,000, $129 flight voucher, annual fee $64/289

For anybody who's had the card for more than 1 month: Is there a way to keep track of which spend is not eligible to count towards the $3k/mo required for bonus points during the month online? Or is it a surprise come statement time? Obviously the safest is to just assume anything remotely...

Bonus points for existing customers [New Card]

Thanks for sharing. Out of interest, did you declare that you held those other Amex cards on the application (in the section that they ask), or did you forget to mention them..?
