All Pax will have to pay tax on points bookings. However you won't have to use your points for a ticket for your bub. Syd - London was 156k rtn pp and about $1100+ in tax. Bub was no points and $800 odd in tax.

You will have to pay tax's. I have a 11month old and we are traveling to London. It was $800 in tax and unfortunately you can't avoid it - that is you can't use points for it.
