Sure :) But can't the same be said for the reverse? i.e. If it qualifies for a Partner award, then it's a Partner award? What exactly is a Partner award then? An award with less than two non-QF airlines? If that's the case, that's fine - but QF need to publish that condition on the site.

I understand where you're coming from. The bit I'm struggling with is just because it would also qualify for the more expensive OW award, I don't know why that means it precludes me from benefiting from the cheaper Partner award table which it also seems to be eligible for?

I was told by a Premium agent the magic fare bucket is 'Q' for economy seats. If there's Q availability, they will release it. I don't know the accuracy of their advice.
