Hi Guys, I'm flying to Haneda from Sydney in March next year & it looks like we've got the old config plane - read that having seats 2E & F on the seatmap mean its the old first cabin.. is that right? I'm traveling with my wife & have selected 1A & 1K at the moment - how close are these seats...

Interested to hear if Qantas crews have any information on their manifest about customers. Obviously status is one... is that all they would be able to tell or could they view things like how much you paid for your ticket, if its an award flight, what sort of customer you are?

Seems my experience differs greatly from most. 3 years WP, this year about to hit WP+PG. Most of my travel is domestic Y... so quite a number of flights per year. Never received an upgrade, don't ever seem to have a 'WP shadow', never received a personal hello... Got a letter last week saying...

Fly out of MEL at least once a week. Would say PB works, at best, 10% of the time. Both lines end up the same length.... 90% of the time.

Thanks Sertfy, your post is a bit beyond my acronym knowledge. My status is earned on a lot.... of domestic QF Y travel and has been for years. As such, I'm not very experienced with travel in the US. I noticed on the OW website that even flying J/F on AA domestically does not allow lounge...
