Checking the EK email with the confirmation, on the top right is has a ticket number starting with 081. That would mean ill be all good? I made the booking a week ago. So i would hope its all in order now.

Just called QF and EK. They both said the bookings are all confirmed and got EK to email me the booking confirmation directly. Phew.

Quiet possibly. Who would you suggest to contact? Qantas directly? or ask EK to send me a confirmation booking via email?

I recently made an award booking using QF points to fly Emirates. I have a QF booking reference and can select seats on the EK website using this booking reference. However, i have not recieved a confirmation from EK about the booking. Should i be worried that this booking hasn't gone through?

Just shows how many cutbacks have been made. Used to be a nice icecream just before landing into DRW from the east coast flights.

I too traveled through HBA in the last few days. Thought the fake trees looked tacky. There is power points built into the chairs, however dont line up to the tables which means cords all over the place. With all the other issues (150m walk outside, shipping containers, only two baggage belts...

Exactly right. Why choose Qantas economy where the seat is narrow and is aisles are narrow just l like JQ, an LCC option which is expected to be tight. Sure the entertainment is better. But the food has gone downhill since they abandoned the trays. The 787 is not a premium experience for those...

I tried the beef massman to JKT not that long ago. Couldnt finish it. Dry and fatty meat. Have they stopped having an extra meal selection online now? I just assumed because my Jakarta flight was a shortish flight they didnt have it.
