I am a Qantas platinum FF. All from domestic, economy tickets. That is hard to do. Roughly 150-200 flights in the past 2 years. I never take a Virgin flight. I have never got an upgrade to business for free, what gives?

you know i once heard that 1 point = 3 cents. That would make a trip to AKL $1080 plus taxes the qantas system is bogus. They need to decrease the points to fly. WE are all being taken for a ride.

You mean when i had to spend the night on a seat in MEL because i could not get a direct flight from PER-BNE. No sleeping at a airport from 12:00 to 4:00am is not much of an inconvenience.
