Emirates often advertise on their website mixed class fares, might be worth while checking them out.

Generally at the airport JQ will fill emergency exit rows 12 &13 at no cost if their isn't enough able bodied pax already sitting in them, as there is a requirement of at least 2 pax per row. Glad your experience has been good so far :lol:

Yes i wonder... Check in/ dispatch with JQ atm, having spent 3 years behind the scenes with Alliance and prior to that TollDnata.
