It happened to me a couple of months ago. Went to check in for a return SYD MEL flight. No record, vanished. Had to buy a new ticket. Sorted it out later and they gave me credit.

Flew last Thursday MEL-CBR, back again and no points yet. Flew to SYD on Tuesday and back yesterday. No points as yet, I think they must be having issues.

Yes, VA say wine time is between 5-7 but only if you take off between those time. If you take off at 4.55pm (even if you are delayed ) then no wine time for you!

I called the contact team to upgrade a flight and they told me I had Companion Gold and too nominate a person. Then my partner logged in to check in for a flight tomorrow and noticed all of a sudden, gone from Gold to Platinum in about 4 weeks!

I agree, it one of the major benefits that QA has over VA. It would mean once you finished all your business flying you can in your retirement access the benefits of a lifetime of loyalty. And if you bring it in, past loyalty should be considered.

re: What else is burning members about recent "enhancements" to QFF? I have not had any issues with accessing Virgin's Lounge at departure and arrival.

I just gave them a call regarding the flight well over a week ago and she updated it straight away. The friendly operator said there was a glitch at the moment and they are doing it manually.

I have experienced the same lag time with points being credited. I flew last Tues MEL-SYD return and havent seem them, although they say they have been credited. I also flew yesterday, and they used to be quite quick. New system perhaps, nice to know that I am not the only person experiencing this.

Might just look at flying Skippy again then. :)
