Next earn rate cut - HSBC Premier World Mastercard

The HSBC staff sounded a bit hesistant, but she said only the Premier Mastercard holders can choose to convert to Kris Flyer Miles or Asia Miles, while other card holders haven't got that option at all, despite having a HSBC Rewards Plus account. That is really strange!

Next earn rate cut - HSBC Premier World Mastercard

Ok thanks very much for your help. I come from a Wespac Kris Flyer Visa card, and have to pay $250 annual fee end of May, which I am very unhappy about. Thats why I am thinking about getting a Platinum Visa card from HSBC, given they offer $0 annual fee the first year, and then after 12 months...

Next earn rate cut - HSBC Premier World Mastercard

I went into a HSBC branch today, and was told after getting the Platinum Visa card, it can't convert its reward points to Asia Miles or Kris Flyer Miles, is this true? The staff said only Premier Mastercard can benefit from Asia Miles or Kris Flyer Miles conversion.

So what is the difference between this card and the HSBC Platinum card? Both can earn 1ppd domestically, but this card has no annual fee going forward.

Lucky the Westpac Kris Flyer card earn rate is still the same after July 1, with the Visa card earning 1.5 Kris miles per dollar spent with merchants located outside Australia. The AMEX is still kept at 1.25 Kris miles per dollar spent anywhere.

Quick question on Black VISA QFF point earning and Sydney AMEX airport lounge access

Re: Quick question on Black VISA QFF point earning and Sydney AMEX airport lounge acc For new applicants on the QFF black card, they are already earning 1 point per dollar now. But for current holders, I guess you may be stuck at 0.75 QFF per $1 until at least August 5. No guarantees, unless...

Switching to the Singapore Airlines Westpac cards

It looks like whoever still kept the Westpac Kris Flyer card (Platinum) is on a winner, as the AMEX spend is $1 for 1.25 Kris Flyer points, and the Visa spend on international purchases is still $1 for 1.5 Kris Flyer points. However, the local Visa spend is still poor at $1 for only 0.5 Kris...

Keep rewards black card or cut the card...?

Is ANZ the only card that gives out points on BPay? I tried yesterday and it is still good surprisingly. This could be the only reason why I still hold on to this card.

ANZ removing points earn on ATO payments

Just got the letter from ANZ today stating the change in conditions for the rewards. Look like BPay transactions are also going to be excluded from earning points after February 26? I hope thats not the case.

ANZ removing points earn on ATO payments

Ok thanks, this is such a shame!! look like ANZ has singled out ATO deliberately. The only positive with the black card is the uncapped points, otherwise there is not much of an advantage given the high annual fees.

ANZ removing points earn on ATO payments

So ANZ sent out a letter to all card holders stating this change?

Thumbs up for citibank for being fair

So surprised they are not opening a branch in Box Hill, as I know many Asians would like to do business with them. Well they are now scaling down in Melbourne, it definitely does shatter my confidence putting large amount of money with them.

Thumbs up for citibank for being fair

Just got an email today saying Citibank is closing one of its branches in Melbourne, seems like they are scaling down here in Victoria. Just hope the credit card rewards don't get scaled down like their branches.

ANZ has launched its Black Rewards card

Don't think this bonus scheme applies to every black card holder, as I never got any SMS from ANZ, and clearly I had my mobile number registered with them all the time.

    ANZ rewards bonus points offer

I didn't get any 25% bonus for all my August transactions, so it seems this bonus is only rewarded to specific individuals. ANZ got to be fair to every card holder!
