NZ Blocked to non-residents/NZ citizens, AU until Apr 13, others May 2 2022

Thanks for that. And grrrrrr! Would love to take advantage of the Qantas biz sale but can't see how anyone would buy flights to go into iso!

NZ Blocked to non-residents/NZ citizens, AU until Apr 13, others May 2 2022

OK; I’ve read the update at the NZ COVID site a few times and am still confused (!!) Does the “phased border re-opening” now planned for end of Feb 22 mean Australian travellers will be allowed into NZ in March with no quarantine restriction? Or that they won’t require to be in an MIQ facility...

    Citibank- transfering points before devaulation

Sorry if this has been raised somewhere else and I didn't see it, BUT: I was able to transfer my total Citipoints balance to KF. It didn't limit me to 15,000 increments. I slid the scale all the way to the right so it showed zero points remaining. Have checked my KF account and they are all...

    Citibank- transfering points before devaulation

Thanks for the clarification, burmans. I've never checked points on the site; I only notice them on my statement. In that case I'll be transferring sooner than anticipated. :)

    Citibank- transfering points before devaulation

I'm wondering if everyone is on the same billing cycle? I have over 900,000 points to transfer to KF in early March and Citi's site might crash in the few days before D-day as everyone does the same thing. I'm hoping that the threat of expiry will force me to book some F class seats to Europe...

    QF Redemption - advice please

Holy cough! How could i not have known that? Given that ASA usually costs more I'd have thought it would have at LEAST the flexibility of Classic. Good to know, Duffa, thanks.

Looking for demographic info on Jetstar Business class passengers

I have travelled JStar BC, and I agree with wingspan that having flown FSC BC makes me less likely to appreciate the former. For the flight I booked, the premium for flying J (incl FF points) over Y was small. Plus is was a daytime flight to Asia. I have never seen the "Don't fly Jetstar"...

    Citibank Qantas Rewards

From the listed Select benefits on the website: The fine print states that it's only up to 21km from the airport. I assumed it was a chauffeured car, but perhaps it is a mini bus - or a taxi!

    Citibank - NEVER GIVE UP

Yes, plus: if you don't like the answer you get the first time just call back & speak to someone else.:D

Boy, I can't wait to get me some of that action! [Why is there no drooling emoticon?]

    Citibank - NEVER GIVE UP

I set mine up just to change the password but I thought that surely I could add the card to my existing profile. That is the craziest thing I've heard yet. OK, maybe not the craziest but sheesh! Why is it that for the other 4 banks I deal with I can have one customer log-in to access credit...

    Citibank - NEVER GIVE UP

^That's not good, but hopefully not indicative. I've had short wait times the few times I've called the Select line. Otherwise my experience mirrored yours exactly, wafliron. The good part about phantom blank statements showing up before the card is that it's brought my billing cycle forward...

    Citibank - NEVER GIVE UP

Sure - I don't think I got to a game last season & really missed it; it's not the same on tele. Actually we have an absolute Bombers tragic coming over tonight and I hate watching games with them, seeing the Bombers are our real Achilles heel team. But tonite is safe seeing the season hasn't...

The Saints. Yes, so near & yet so far- a disappointment equalled only by dealing with Citibank.

Cheap J flights Asia to Europe

It's no secret that paying for J fares ex-Oz is a rort and it's much cheaper to fly via Asia. I thought I would post what I have found recently in case anyone else is planning a trip. We are flying into CDG and out of LHR in September flying Qatar ex-BKK for $2870. This is a great price IMO...

    Citibank - NEVER GIVE UP

Bloody excellent, Cruiser Elite! I bet they were blown away by your application package; I'm sure they wouldn't see that kind of initiative every day. Hopefully you will inspire a few others to keep going as well. I also look forward to getting some tips from your points usage in future...

greenfrog, does that mean it does allow transfer of points from one rewards scheme to the another?

    Citibank Qantas Rewards

Happy to report that the Select card rocked up yesterday & I was pretty impressed. Not exactly Centurion presentation but still a lot nicer than the usual card stuck to a sheet of A4 paper! I called & opted in to the QR program so I get the 50k points into QFF. Interestingly, they warned me not...

    Citibank Qantas Rewards

Unless CitiBusiness is different from the other Citi cards (and I doubt it) you can't transfer CR points to QR points. You can, however, transfer them to other programs such as SQ. If you want QR points you have to use up all your current points or you will lose them. Existing points don't get...

    Citibank Qantas Rewards

^Thanks for the explanation. I take it that they convert from CR points only in blocks of 15000? That does seem a little coughbersome but righty-o. Doing a Paris trip in September that always does some damage, so the o/s earn rate on KF points sounds mighty tempting. Now I just need to find...
