    Platinum Newsletter

I t Not anymore. There used to be a magazine called Qantas Air (I think it may be the one you're referring to) that was sent out on a quarterly basis, however, it went out of publication around 8 years ago. The last episode was produced in December 2010. I don't think it was well received and...

    Platinum Newsletter

It appears to be basing the distance travelled on flights booked under a QF code (Qantas operated and Qantas codeshares); JQ flights may be included as well. After reviewing my travel over the period (01 August 2017 - 31 July 2018) stipulated under '*' in the 'Important information' section at...

QANTAS Platinum one - might not be going ahead

I am in favour of having the Platinum One tier shelved. Qantas currently has five tiers of membership including the invite only status, Chairman's Lounge. I can see no real advantage in introducing yet another tier which could potentially result in the current Platinum level being devalued...

    AIR - A Qantas Magazine

My copy of AIR magazine arrived today. I receive it every three months and although it is described as a 'Qantas magazine', there is very little Qantas related content. Most of the content seems to be about luxury travel, food and wine, fashion etc. The March 2010 edition had an interesting...

Do you get sick of flying and travel?

I have just had a look at your BA97 calendar and noticed that you took 31 flights between May 22nd and June 1st; an amazing amount of flying over such a short period of time in anyone's eyes. What was the purpose behind all those flights? Was it a 'status run'? I am just curious. :)

Do you get sick of flying and travel?

I do occasionally get fed up of flying, especially when the flight is at unsociable hours e.g. 6 a.m. or is a 'red-eye' i.e.an overnight flight traversing several time zones in an easterly direction. Even travelling in first class does not completely irradicate the effects of jet lag on...

    QF First Lounge access

Qantas is certainly part of the One World Alliance so One World 'Emerald status' (equivalent to QFF Platinum) should give you access to the F lounge at SYD. There are some lounges operated by One World partners such as British Airways that are not available to Emerald status members of other One...
