    Does anyone know a way to see Thai Airways award availability without having to transfer points to them?     Hi. Will be flying SQ288 SYD-CBR-SIN on Xmas day. I read Gold Star Alliance members can access the Virgin lounge in Canberra. Will that be possible on that flight? I thought the Virgin lounge was domestic.

    Re: I got given an upgrade to gold on Virgin... And have done no flying with them for I got the same email after being a velocity member for all of 3 weeks. Click the link to the website in the email and it will take you to a page that says the offers were made in error. Bummer.:(
