    No I didn't, as I wanted the QF status credits. So I wasn't expecting it to work, I was just providing my experience given there were previous posts suggesting otherwise.

    Just to share my experience - I flew EK metal F (QF booking) last week. Tried to log in with my Skywards number to get the free Wifi and received the following message: "Please connect as 'Non-Skywards' as your Skyward number is not entered for your flight today." So it didn't work for me.
