on sunday i flew LHR - SIN - BNE. I used mySQupgrade to go from Economy to Premium Ecc. I used the Premium check in at LHR and they didn't say anything about my bags being overweight by about 1 kg (so i assume the 35kg for premium applied all the way - if they did i would have taken the 3 Kgs...

i have a baggage allowance question - i'm booked to fly from LHR to SIN in Y, than SIN to BNE in W. do i get the W allowance the entire way (the extra 10 Kg?)

I did SQ246 onto SQ308 yesterday. SQ246 had the live tv so i was able to watch the Tennis. I looked forward to continuing this on 308 only to find no live TV on it. this made the 14 hour flight drag and i would have preferred the opposite (live tv only on the SIN - LHR leg)

what cheeses me off: people who get off an escalator and stand there in a daze looking around right at the end. listen, i'm coming and theres noting i can do about it. another one is when people are going to the other escalator and they cut across the front of yours when your about to step...

i'm booked in on the same flight for Sep 2 connecting to SQ308 to LHR. I can't turn on auto check in for any of my 2 sectors to LHR but i can for the return. I do however have a seat selected as i paid for seat selection as i'm in Y

thats why i didn't do QF9 to LHR - PER to LHR. stopping over in SIN at least allows you to stretch, eat and even use a normal toilet

I'm flying out on Sep 2. wonder if there is some glitch in there system - it definitly had no meals listed this morning. I'm still not seeing a menu for BNE - SIN in my booking but when i check the next segment (SIN - LHR) i see a full menu

looks like they have stopped serving any meals on SQ246 (BNE - SIN) at all in ecconomy. when checking the menu, all it gives is snacks. for an 8 hour flight this is pathetic

also, theres a ton of built up demand from those who had bookings during covid but could not travel. I expect that once feb comes (post christmas and school hols) fares will start dropping as demand does, coupled with an increase of seats as airlines return to australian airspace

yep. i'm off to LHR on the 3rd and its rammed for all 4 sectors. i was hoping for a free seat next to me (i'm in Y) but no such luck

yep. cap until sep 11, which is the day i fly back to BNE. will be interesting to see if it helps.

anyone been though terminal 2 recently? my trip is just over 2 weeks away,. just want to know what the baggage situation is at the moment. is it coming though? how long did it take?

SQ308 (B777) SIN - LHR left at 9:24am (24 mins late) but is expected to make up time in flight and arrive 1 min late at 15:41 today (Sun Aug 14)
