Jetstar ranks lowest of more than 70 airlines in major survey by consumer groups

Pilot competence and maintenance standards are not visible to passengers unless something clearly goes wrong. Passengers understandably vote on service, and in this even Wings Air better JetStar as far as I am concerned.

Jetstar ranks lowest of more than 70 airlines in major survey by consumer groups

For sure, we just take our private Lear jets anyway, mainly to keep away from the riff-raff. Beyond that, if you want to go beyond Jakarta or Denpasar, good luck to finding something without an Indonesian flag. Jetstar ranks lowest of more than 70 airlines in major survey by consumer groups

This is the difference, you know the drill. Me, I flew them after a long hiatus since the early days of survival-of-the-fittest seating allocation, with the front rows blocked off, purely for lack of any other option. Not in a hurry to try again.

    Best Luggage?

Should have got them fixed at the airlines' expense: lodge a claim still at the airport as soon as you realize that something was damaged. Especially Samsonites are very fixable, parts are plentiful anywhere in the world for even the oldest models. That said, my Delsey has lasted 25 years...

    Best Luggage?

Check out what international flight crews use: mostly car-bumper-material hard cases. The reason is, there is a good chance your bag will end up at the bottom of the container, with everyone else's piled on top. Also, soft cases, especially those with straps, are easily caught on pointy bits...
