Sorry, it is my miscalculation. 1 point per $1 for the first $3000, then 0.5 points per $1 for thereafter. I was expecting to see more than 4000 points when I opened the app.

I used the card to pay tax office through Sniip, didn’t earn points and didn’t count towards 4K spending.

Looks like I can only wait for the promotion and apply instead of switching.
