I am waiting for Amex or FOS. I sent complaint to FOS, Amex exec services finally got interested, asked for copy of complaint, I sent that last week, now I wait for either them or FOS to reply. I'm betting it won't be Amex to reply ! I am 400,000 odd points short.

I had the same experience mate, their letter, when finally sent, was a standard letter and made no real mention of my circumstances. I just went to FOS.
