Love Qantas, but lost all points in the AN collapse - just used all my QFF points to book 2 return tix to LHR with stopovers in HK and Perth at Easter 2012 and even paid for the travel ins with points. Mr Cryan doesnt think we could be that stiff twice, however, I am taking no chances.
Thanks so much for the report - It was just great - I feel like I was in the back seat with you driving around NZ - and I am with Mrs Drron, I would go for the scallops and the wine label every time
Just returned from UK with Qantas, planes chokka block both ways, Qantas staff from check in to landing were excellent, no hiccups, everything on time and no problems. Couldnt fault them in any way.
Hi all,
I have 2 Qantas " sale" fares Melb to UK departing 27/3 and we now can not travel. What are my options, I have read T & C for Qantas and I can change dates for a fee of $60 and pay price diff for new tickets, but do I still have to go to my original destination or do they allow a new...
Had a similar experience Melb-Syd-LA - just made the flight, but sadly the bags didnt - Qantas sent them on a later flight and then couriered them to our hotel room about 18 hours later and gave us $US100 per bag in compensation. Not complaining - had the spare undies in the handluggage, so it...
No - our aircraft has not changed - we had seats 50 A and 50 B on the A 380 and they were removed from my booking and I was unable to get them back, a call to Qantas confirmed that.
I guess its the luck of the draw, i wished i hadnt wasted my time though.
Good luck with that - I am travelling with Mr Cryan Melb ( FF of 20 years) to Lond late March with Q - all booked and paid for and careful seat selections in economy last November- yesterday i noted that the seats on the A380 leg ( Sing to Lon) were now showing us as unallocated.
Rang Q and...
If you have never been before, you have to go. Took 3 teenagers and hubby Xmas 2008 and was such an eye opening experience for all of us. Wouldnt rush back, but very Glad we went. Get up and out early in the day the heat will be bad.
Thank you for all your help Serfty, your are spot on and I will follow up with Qantas. I do wonder if they have overbooked the flight knowing that they are introducing 2 X new A380's on the same route shortly
I booked my tix online myself with the qantas website - I paid cash - There was never an opportunity to select seats. When i go in to "manage my booking" - the seat requests are greyed out - We are QFF members bronze status. Not sure what to do now really. 58A sounds like it is a very...
When I check my booking via my FF account ( I paid cash for tickets) I can see that I have been allocated seats. I booked on line and did not get any opportunity to request seats.
Hi all, recently bought 2 sale priced return QF tickets to UK to travel 27/3/10. I have noted that QF has allocated seats 58 A and B on the 747400 and 50A and 50 B on the A380 - they are all exit row seats, and I am wondering if the 50 A is a big problem because of the slide protrusion.
The...
Looking to go to UK Mar/Apr 2010 and wondering if and when the major airlines announce their earlybird fares ? When is the best time to book for that time of year ? Anyone with a crystal ball? Is qantas likely to do the 2 for 1 again ?;);)
Thanks for your reply - It was the direct sweep that we had applied for that didnt happen - It did happen eventually after a few phone calls and Amex couldnt explain why they hadnt done the transfer. Ahh the gremlins ! All is well now.
Thanks
