Lulz. I hit WP in about 4 hours and still haven't received my PS card three and a half weeks on...

So, a bit under two weeks in your case. Thanks for the update! We'll store the delivery time into the vast sea of data points for the next one who'll ask about it.
Actually, my bad for not being more precise, I "qualified" 24th March, so in reality a couple of days shy of a month to receive the new card and tag.

Anyway, this post has reminded me to place my annual WP tag order - usually good for $80-100.

Apparently inflation extends to bag tags. $150-160 per tag going off some recent sold listings 🤯

Also Qantas seems to have exhausted their supply of 100 year WP tags. Back to the red roo.

I just received my Gold card today. Hit that four weeks ago.

Only hit Platinum two and a half weeks ago... More of a wait, I guess.
(Never even received a Silver card!)

Ah, I must request request a new tag. My original Gen 1.0 WP tags have taken on a certain slimy feel - even though hardly used. My 100 tag is in use but I’d like to try and keep that in reasonable condition - well, before it goes slimy…

At the price they're charging them for ($140 dollars)! You would have assumed that they are the apple airtag year 2050 model. So fashionable that even normal working class people are wearing it in the work bags on the trains on their day to day commute. Ironic that the people who have wealth do not really present themselves as wealthy where people on the other end of the spectrum buy the most fashionable things to show how "wealthy" they are. Interesting note I don't take pictures to my colleagues and friends when taking J class (only for memory log as a reflection nothing else). And if I do share it it is with non-real-life people so in a sense not showing off. Speaking of which I have never received any gold or platinum bag tags labels from Velocity and I don't need to tag them on my bag to display my self worth (OK maybe when going to the airport right before check in so they can better identify me and assist me with check in but that would be the extent of the benefit I would receive from it)
🤣🤣

Update: Saw them selling Qantas Business class luggage tag for $10 what has the world become? Maybe next time I will try checking in my pet potato so I can get $10 extra worth from taking J 🤣

I have now received two World Platinum packages from Qantas. The first one came after about 4 weeks and the second after 8 weeks.

Twice as much entitlement to skip the queue!
