My first time transiting MEL it was I-I and I cleared immigration in person.

The second time where where I landed up in the F lounge. I went through international transit, not sticker etc. When I entered the F lounge my pass wouldn't scan. The lady at the front desk let me in and said she'd page me once sorted out. I had a shower and was about to eat when someone from QF came to escort me through MEL arrival immigration to enter Australia. Then back through departure immigration where I got the orange sticker for my boarding pass.
