Hi all. Unless I am missing something, I am unable to combine a classic reward with a classic plus reward as a multi city booking. In fact, classic reward plus seats do not appear at all in a multi city search despite showing in a point-to-point search.

So how would I be able to make one booking/ticket such as:

Mel to Tokyo classic plus reward - Tokyo to Helsinki classic reward.

Cannot be done ..
Classic Plus only basic return and one way .. no Multi city offered
Which was probably the case with CR and revenue*. You could only do a simple return $ one way and CR another.

*CR+ are using revenue seats.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

The FAQ claims it is possible to combine CR with CR+:
Yes, you can combine Classic Plus Flight Reward fares with Classic Flight Reward or Cash fares available on qantas.com
Now, it s possible they need more time (or another 150millions funding) to make it work. But hey, domestic CR+ to be rolled out later, along with international flights departing from abroad, so each enhancement in its own time.

It's this. Classic combined with Classic Plus is only possible with the new booking engine and not the legacy one which multi city is using.
IMO I prefer the multi city engine not showing Classic Plus awards as it filters out options I'm unlikely to ever select.

Again, presumably as a simple A->B (and return) as per the prior example.

Pretty sure it isn't/wasn’t possible to book online A->B->C as a mix of CR and $ or now CR/CR+ ?

Thanks for the feedback to my original post commencing this thread. Yes the conclusion seems to be that the only way to mix a classic plus reward with other normal reward or cash fares is via a simple return route such as A to B and return. The inability to include in a multi city booking reveals yet another example of a hyped up change to the FF programme.
