    Thanks. I didn't realise Covermore was underwritten by Allianz as well... I just purchased 2 days of insurance from travelinsurancedirect.com.au which sells Allianz insurance, and I'm about to buy my second uninsured portion from World nomads as it seems to be the cheapest for a long period...

    Does anyone know a good credit card to get before I leave for a year in France? All this stuff about double currency conversion (EURO - US - AUD) sounds terrible.... Not planning to go madly shopping, just need a backup emergency source of funds...

    Thanks for warm welcome! Thanks for the warm welcome Kiwiflyer! I just purchased my ticket on Korean Air flying SYD-Seoul - AMS. Gotta make my own way AMS - SXB. Air France has an alliance with Korean Air on Skyteam and I think I have enough miles to get a Europe-continental ticket.....shame...

    Has anyone done a comparison of travel insurance deals out there? I'm trying to decide between CoverMore and Allianz for a 2 mth trip...CoverMore is more expensive but seems to ahem....cover more? :p Anyone with better tips or experience? Cheers!

    Hapag-Lloyd Express from Santiago de Compostela to Stuttgart Turkish Air Osaka to Istanbul, Istanbul to Moscow. Nothing worked!!! Not even the radio!

    Hello, I have points in ANA, KrisFlyer, and Aeroplan! Is there anyway to consolidate them into one program, or transfer them somehow? What a mess! Should I just write them off and start over, using just 1 program? Thanks TL
