The satellite photos looked like it would have caused a lot of damage had it come ashore closer to Darwin. There will still be a lot of flooding though.

JI is an abbreviation that is being used by the news media. Until their 2 letter code is issued we can only guess.

I don't think that JI will be any different than their domestic counterpart because the same people with the same mentality are running the thing. Which is unfortunate as they have a perfect opportunity to start with a clean slate.
