ATO (tax office) payments by credit card

My limit is only $6k, I guess I can transfer all over at once, and then break it down to $5 or $6k a day in payments. Its kind of the last hurrah for this card, I'll probably get rid of it after this....

ATO (tax office) payments by credit card

Qudos card: I've got about $50k in tax I need to pay soonish. My Qudos limit is only $6k. Am I able to put it in credit by say $50k, and then pay straight out to the ATO? Can anyone see any problems with this? Otherwise I'd probably have to transfer in $6k every day and pay it out the next...

    AA's SYD-LAX flight

L/XL was the size. The other size was S/M, but they were out of those. At least the FA did go and look for a set....

    AA's SYD-LAX flight

AA72 - SYD-LAX - 15 Jan - business class Service - the crew aren't the youngest out there, but they are experienced and they know what they are doing. I hear a lot of people complain about AA crew, but that hasn't been my experience at all - I generally find them fast, efficient and friendly...

    AA's SYD-LAX flight

For most of this week they have been C7. Doesn't get any more instant than that. I purchased a few days ago for Fridays flight. Even if they aren't showing instant upgrade, its pretty easy to make an educated guess. I have never had a upgrade not clear.

    AA's SYD-LAX flight

I flown only AA Y once in the last 11 years - and it was the last award seat out of Europe when that Icelandic volcano exploded, grounding most European flights, so I wasn't complaining. I've been lucky with EVIPs - they always clear. But when that luck runs out, I'm pretty sure I'll be...

    AA's SYD-LAX flight

Wow. A lot of negativity. FWIW, I fly AA in J a lot. Maybe 20-30 times a year, international (not yet from SYD, but that should change next week) To be honest, most of my travel in J is using EVIPs, but hopefully that doesn't cloud my judgment. I pretty much only travel in J on oneworld...

Citibank Plus - No Fee No Overseas Transaction Fee Account

There's a big Citibank on Sukhumvit, across the road from Terminal 21 mall. Not far from Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit. The ATMs are around the side.

    Using Satnav

I used this for about 6 months before I bought Sygic. I liked it, but it isn't as good as a turn-by-turn GPS. I still use it, but mostly for info on a place I'm visiting.

    Using Satnav

The app is called Sygic GPS Navigation. GPS Navigation | Features I don't think it costs anything to download the app, but you need to buy the licence. The licence always seems to be on sale. Right now in the sygic store the worldwide licence is EUR100 reduced to EUR30. I almost never spend...

    Using Satnav

I purchased Sygic GPS for my iPhone. I think it cost around $50 for a lifetime license and unlimited country maps. Just download the maps via wifi, and it works off your GPS, so no data used. Have used it in Italy, USA, Greece, Thailand, UK, Sydney...... works perfectly, and even if the hire car...

    Electronic arrivals at LAX

I got TSA-pre check just by ticking a box in my AA profile.... I had thought it wasn't available to me, but has worked every time since I checked that box :)
