I applied using your referral link yesterday, though you may need to wait a while for your referral bonus as I am on extended leave at present and it will take some time to get my paperwork (payslips) in order.

Can't help you on the first question (at least not yet), but I can confirm that I was recently able to renew platinum in exchange for 120,000 QFF points without having flown a single Qantas (or Jetstar) flight (I am currently based in London).

I have this card with Mrs 2tall4Y as an additional cardholder, and I and confirm that her card has a different number to my (primary) card, and that transactions for the primary and additional cards are separated on the statement.
