Well, well, well. Just received an email with 25% promo and booked from airport in WLG instead of downtown and now the price is A$550 cheaper! Very strange pricing from Hertz.

Nothing ever happens in Wellington does it? :) Just predatory pricing from Hertz IMHO. When one checks, prices range from $400-$1300 depending on the month one chooses for same period, same car.

I don't expect the price to more than double for a hire 28 days later.

Not impressed with Hertz NZ. Booked a car out of Wellington for a few days then realised I had input the dates a month too early, february instead of March. So cancelled reservation and rebooked same car, same period oin March. The price more than doubled for the new period. Complained to Hertz...
