Credit card sign-up offers for Qantas points

With this month’s best Qantas credit card sign-up offers, you can earn up to 150,000 bonus Qantas Frequent Flyer points! That’s more than enough Qantas points to fly around the world in Economy class (which costs 132,400 Qantas points), or 13 upgrades from Economy to Business class on red-eDeal tickets between Sydney and Melbourne.

The bonus points offer on the NAB Qantas Rewards Signature card increased from 120,000 to 130,000 Qantas points on 2 March 2020. This is the best sign-up deal we’ve ever seen from a NAB credit card!

With the Qantas American Express Ultimate card, keep in mind that you can offset the $450 annual fee by using the $450 annual Qantas travel credit that comes automatically with the card.

Beware that several of these Qantas (and Velocity) credit card offers require you to renew the card for a second year, or commit with spending each month over a period of several months, in order to earn the full sign-up bonus. This is part of a wider trend of banks cracking down on credit card churning.
