Trip
report by drron | As it will
be quite some time before I can do a real trip
report I thought I would continue my adventures
with my experiences as a FIFO worker. Since the
beginning of October last year I have worked in
Launceston, Latrobe in Tassie and Bundaberg before
my last stint back in Launceston. read

Q:
Where did you go on your last trip?
|
A:
Domestically, Melbourne. Internationally, Bangkok.
|
Q:
Where will you go when the current travel bans are
lifted?
|
A:
Domestically: Melbourne, Devonport
and Bendigo. Internationally: Rome.
|
Q:
Favourite airline?
|
A:
For
domestic flights, Qantas. Although for work I used
to fly a lot on Virgin as well before it
collapsed, and it was fine, the higher quality of
service and seamless experience that Qantas offers
is just consistently better for my personal needs
and flying patterns. For international flights, I
like Emirates, Qatar, Qantas and Cathay Pacific. I
only fly J [Business class] internationally for
work so they are all good to be honest. I'm not
interested in the minutia of differences in the
colour of beige between the offers!

Q:
What's one piece of advice you would give to a new
AFF member? |
A:
Don't
spread yourself too thin. Focus on one alliance or
airline and you can shut out the noise from the
rest. Makes it much easier to process!
|
Q:
Favourite thread on AFF? |
A:
I love reading peoples' trip
reports, they give me inspiration to plan my
next trip!
