AFF Member Profile
This week, we interviewed AFF member Mal from London. Mal joined Australian Frequent Flyer in 2004 and has so far made 12,274 posts.

Q: Where did you go on your last trip?
A: Last trip was to Tasmania for a self guided driving trip around the famous sights. Covid-19 was starting to cause issues and Tasmania was closing behind me, but few tourists and cheap hotels made for an amazing trip.

Q: Where will you go when the current travel bans are lifted?
A: Portugal and Bulgaria are the first countries I want to visit after lockdown ends. These were already planned but had to be cancelled. Portugal as it is relatively cheap, friendly people, amazing food and good weather; Bulgaria for a new place I haven't been to before.

Q: Favourite airline?
A: Qatar Airways. Very good cabins and lovely food. Staff are also attentive.

Q: What's one piece of advice you would give to a new AFF member?
A: AFF is usually a friendly forum with people going out of their way to help. Acknowledging that advice given has helped ensures that people see their advice is appreciated.

Q: Favourite forum on AFF?
A: Meetings and Social Events is my favourite forum. It is great to meet up with people in random cities and countries!
