The previous thread has been locked, so here is a new one! (World rally Championship)

Argentinian round of the WRC has been postponed as well. Chile had been cancelled, doesn't look good for the upcoming rounds in Portugal and Sardinia.

I'm sure Fiestas in Mexico often involve fire, but I don't think this is what normally happens, WRC | Videos

It's a real pity because Lappi/Ferm were on course for a good finish position.

Chile was cancelled a while ago due to the domestic situation there, I hope that by July things will be back to normal, but who knows.

The Safari Rally is being run in July and at the moment we are going. I've been talking to RallySafe/SAS who do the timing for the WRC and they have meetings next week with the FIA so contingencies can be sorted.

With the latest from NZ, their very well known Otago Rally will have problems as well, it's meant to be run 1st weekend in April and attracts a lot of overseas drivers and visitors. :(

I was going there but cancelled due to her indoors operation/recovery, probably not such a bad thing now.

Tuesday is the day, she is currently down the coast having some time without me! :)

Guess we'll be seeing enough of each other when I'll be waiting on her hand and foot. Normally it would be ok, but non weightbearing will be an issue for 8 plus weeks.

MrsRK was non-weightbearing for a couple of months last year, but managed to get around on crutches outside and a wheeled office chair in the house, after not doing much for a few days.

I suppose the only upside is with all the restrictions in place it won’t put a hole in your travel plans.
