The Loganair Westray to Papa Westray route is one of the shortest scheduled passenger flights in the world. Flights on the route are scheduled for one and a half minutes, and actual flying time is closer to one minute.

Looking at flying to Scotland in 2020, flying into Glasgow and visiting a few places in Scotland including the other Perth.

Flights between Westray Airport and Papa Westray Airport occur daily in both directions, except on Saturdays, when only flights from Westray to Papa Westray are available, and on Sunday, when only flights from Papa Westray to Westray are available. The total distance covered by the flights is 2.7 kilometres (1.7 mi), which is about the same length as the runway at Edinburgh airport. The flights are always combined with flights from and to Kirkwall Airport (44 km (27 mi) distance), flying in a narrow triangle.

You have to fly up from Glasgow to Kirkwall before taking the triangular flight to Papa Westray and Westray, it doesn't look like you can fly up and back from Glasgow or Edinburgh.

Anyone flown these flights, doesn't appear you can book a Kirkwall; Kirkwall round trip so I might have to use a travel agent.

I would personally stay a little while in Orkney.
I did get a shot of their poster-
178026.
Which meant I knew the airline and you can book online.

However on their site the latest I could book to Papa Westray was 3/3/20.
They do have direct flights to Kirkwall from EDI and ABZ.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

You have to email to book, address listed at https://www.loganair.co.uk/travel-information/orkney-inter-island-services/

Beware that the plane they use is a 10-seater so you will need to book in advance (especially during peak tourist season in July) if you want to do it. Also when the school boat (yes, boat) needs maintenance the kids get to take the plane so there is legitimate demand for it. Unfortunately I wasn't able to book it during my trip to Orkney because I had left it too late.

The circuit route starting in KOI will take you about 45mins all up. I'd probably recommend that since you might end up stuck on Papa Westray for a while with no ferry back or plane back (since the plane seems to go in one direction) and there isn't really public transport on the islands (and in the case of Westray, the airport is not near the main township or shops).
