I received this email from EGM. There are two options, one per the title description, and another offering 80,000 Etihad Guest miles for €159 (~$235AUD). Both options offer miles at 0.23 and 0.29 cents per mile respectively.

Maybe I'm showing my age here but I could care less for the actual benefits of the card. But this offer sounds too good to be true. The only conditions to be aware of that I could see is that the bonus miles which won't post until 30 days after the end of membership period (12 months + 30 days). At which point we all cancel our memberships.

Anyone else get this? Am I missing something here??

Detailed T&Cs listed on the web page link -

I may be reading it wrongly but the membership seems to be EUR 249/159 per month i.e annual fees are EUR2990/2000. Have to pay the annual fee and presumably no prorata refund. My reading of T&Cs is that you would get the miles 30 days after 31 Aug.

Yep there is the problem, the 2 'monthly' plans that are eligible for the points are 'billed annually' so not really monthly at all. Ontop of this it says int he T&Cs "Membership fees cannot be withdrawn after crediting of the miles"so no prorata refund so you would be up for:
€159 (~$235AUD) x 12
€249 (~$370AUD) x 12

With no point in canceling after the points are credited I believe.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

I would also add, given my personal experience with The Economist offer earlier this year, I wouldn't have counted on the miles posting anyway. EY partner offers seem to be more miss than hit.
