Asia dominates world's best airports list

"Australian airports were nowhere to be seen in the results."

Results are expected but BKK didn't get a mention.

I think BKK feels like a jail.

I am surprised that an Indian airport is in the list as I have yet to find any indian airport to be anything but awful (BOM, MAA, DEL, BLR)

Interesting entries on that list. Of course, no LON airports, NYC airports or LAX, but probably surprising that not one large airport (possible exception ZRH) made the European top list.

HYD probably made it to the list because it is brand new. DEL made the list as most improved, which wouldn't have been hard to do considering how terrible DEL used to be. At least the commonwealth games have caused some benefit to Delhi's infrastructure.

HYD probably made it to the list because it is brand new. DEL made the list as most improved, which wouldn't have been hard to do considering how terrible DEL used to be. At least the commonwealth games have caused some benefit to Delhi's infrastructure.

Seriously DEL is awful - mainly for lounges but also for the security after the lounge process. Also the manual security checks after the WTMD for EVERYONE...

You're kidding right?

The difference between Don Muang and Suvarnabhumi is night and day....unless you like small confined airports built in the 1960's.

No surprise about the lack of Australian airports...

This is based on travellers views and obviously if it is internet based survey the top five airports belong to countries with high internet penetration or a higher population with access to internet. Secondly Australian airports wont get a mention because Aus airports are mostly destination airports not hubs where passengers use as transits like Singapore / Hong Kong /Incheon. I have been to all these 5 airports a few times and some of them are clearly there because there are larger supporters for these airports to be on the list. I dont think there was any comparability studies done that could actually rank the airport against each other.
