This program has become absurd in its creation and targeting of offers and the "achievability and worth" of those offers. This is exampled by not only the absurd offers that I receive but also the nonsense ones reported in this thread of recent times.
The analytics that sit within the system need a complete overhaul. As a starting point, the boffins who spin the wheels of the analytics system need to enrol in Flybuys and see the style and type of offers that are targeted to regular everyday shoppers.
As a very simple example, today I received my "Flybuys tracker" email for the month of September. The tracker tells me that I earned 14 times more bonus points than standard points for the month. This was just doing regular shopping at Coles, not doing massive shops, not chasing points, not buying products I don't want or need and not shopping anywhere else apart from Coles. I don't think I have ever seen this with Woolworths Rewards.
Sure the pendulum may swing back the other way at some point, but at the moment, its Coles for the win.
