Everyday Rewards Targeted Offers

Our family members got a couple of interesting offers today.

2 week offer, $40 per week target, 3000 points at the end of the second week transaction
2 week offer, $80 per week target, 4000 points at the end of the second week transaction
2 week offer, $100 per week target 4500 points at the end of the second week transaction

These offers highlight once again how Woolworths Rewards don't plan fair and on a pro rata or percentage basis don't give you more rewards the more you spend. The target on the second offer is double that of the first but the reward has only slightly increased.

I'm considering taking up the $40 target offer which is on my card. I've spent less than $20 at Woolworths in the past 2 weeks so there are a few Woolworths only supplies which I can catch up with as well as take advantage of the half price specials. I'm still taking up 2 Coles offers at the moment but I'll include some Christmas shopping with these purchases so should be able to make the targets easily.

EDIT: Added offer 3 for comparison. The lowest percentage return offer is the one with the highest target per week.

Spend $230/week for 2 weeks for 10,500 Points...
I think I’ll wait to see what offers arrive on the other two cards

$170/week for 2 weeks = 7500 points
I have never spent that much on that card so wont start now to encourage higher spend offers. Still waiting on any offers on the other cards....

For some reason WOW only email me offers that require me to order online and have it delivered, which I have never done, nor likely to do (my nearest store is ~1km from home). Just as easy for me to pop in.

OTOH, I get printed coupons via snail mail whereas +1 never gets either of these but instead always gets emailed offers of "spend x to get y points".

Go figure.

I've just completed a 4 week spend $50 per week for 6000 bonus points. An easy weekly target that we hit anyway and $30 off the next shop.
