WLG NZ lounge closing for renovations

I noticed on the SQ website that the NZ international lounge in Wellington will be closed for renovations from 30 October - 29 November 2017.

Apparently SQ will be sending their customers to the regional NZ lounge during the renovations. (I can only assume it will be the same for Air NZ's own passengers.)

With AirNZ these are different types of lounges.

With AirNZ these are different types of lounges.

The international NZ lounge is the one being refurbished, and int'l passengers are being sent to the regional NZ lounge in its place. (This is located before security.)

I was probably a bit clumsy in saying "regional Koru Club" in my original post. I've corrected it.

I'm planning to fly SQ out of WLG in early December (in J - Velocity Gold doesn't get you lounge access if flying Y!) so hopefully the renovations will be done by then.

I can confirm that this lounge has now re-opened. I must admit though, it was pretty average - quite small, no windows and the food was almost identical to what was available in the regional lounge anyway.
