Seriously. Does anyone in the marketing department proof-read these things before they go live??

Sounds like an echo for the first mistake and a Gen Y'er who needs an English grammar & sentence construction refresher...

No travel plans so no entry for me. Best wishes to those who can enter.

Have you thought of getting help with this obsession? :)

As JohnPhelan says above the EK lounges leave SIN lounges far behind. The comfort, service and food (and wines) in the EK lounges are excellent. Even the veal bacon in EK F lounge is loverly, surpringly.

But I really don't travel just to go to lounges.SIN is a far better place to break a journey to/from Europe than DXB.Been once.Dont have to go again.HKG,BKK or NRT all much preferred by us as well. And the airlines used are just as good if not better at times.

I think through numerous examples that have been posted here in the past, the answer is no doubt "No."

I don't know whether to laugh at the sheer repeated, juvenile incompetence (A major corporation sending out this stuff? Really?) or cry that Qantas treat their customers with such contempt that they fling out this cough to the world without a care. And its not as though the company rep Red Roo hasn't been informed here of this sort of tosh, so the message might have filtered through to the children writing this stuff.

Fair enough!

But the airport and lounges are better. The airport hotel is also convenient and one can pop out to Dubai for some hours, come back and have dinner in the excellent F lounge at midnight, sleep in hotel one floor above the lounge for 6-7 hrs, breakfast in the F lounge then board flight to Oz at 10 am. Works well.
