Why is QF10 PER-MEL showing as an A330 on 28 April 2020?

Does anyone have any idea as to why QF10 PER-MEL is showing as being operated by an A330 on 28 April 2020? The days either side show the normal B789.

It strikes me as puzzling that QF is already planning on subbing the aircraft operating the DOM sector so specifically this far out.

Just having a quick look it appears the domestic legs of both QF9 and QF10 will be operated by the A330 every Tuesday from Feb 11th

Hmmm - interesting. It seems like a permanent change as far as the eye can see into 2020.

I wonder why - and how they will utilise the B789 when it hits the deck in PER from LHR on Tuesdays?

Is Tuesday the day that the aircraft doesn't do the evening MEL-CA trip?

That might suit me quite well as I can only fly on an A330 at present. This adds one more choice of flight times.

Park it for 6:50 and send it back to LHR.

??? Why are you limited to the A330?
After poor behaviour on a flight earlier in the year, I found out that I need oxygen when I fly. Qantas Special Handling have been very helpful. I have since had 5 uneventful flights, taking an oxygen concentrator. I also pay Qantas to provide a cylinder of oxygen as a back up. I have to sit in 7E as that is when the engineers hook up the cylinder. My understanding that if I flew in a B737, I would need a second seat for the cylinder. I cannot fly Virgin Business as according to them, there is no option of oxygen in Business.
I'm not sure what the arrangements for oxygen would be on a B787; I haven't researched that option as I prefer to use points or cash plus points to fly and I never see any FF points options for Business on QF9/10.
So I just make sure I fly on an A330 earlier in the day and that there is a later A330 flight as well, just in case.
But possibly QF9/10 could be a fall back position.

Sorry, peeps, despite all that I think we're only a little closer to answering the question of why the change specifically on Tuesday?

Why wasn't it done that way previously? Also, it seems strange to leave the bird sitting in PER. What if there is some maintenance required? Does PER have the facilities for the B789?

And rules out purchasing PE on QF9/10 to and from MEL the whole way. I had heard a rumour this might occur a while back though.

Any hints as to why?
I thought the plane may be utilised on something else (network reason), but can't spot anything.

I'd guess fleet optimisation. Perhaps something do with the commencement of BNE-SFO flights, which I think start on 9 Feb.

Given the amount of times we've seen a 737 step in and do the first or final leg since its been running (admittedly when needed to bail out an issue) I assume those legs aren't getting great loads. And they are obviously selling healthy PE loads from perth and would rather Melbourne folks take QF35/QF1?
