The other day I got the notice that because I have no points on my account and have not had for a while, they were going to close my account and if I want to use KF I'd have to sign up for a new account.

Just out of interest, why would they do this? I understand that the points would expire, but the entire account? It doesn't make sense because it's not like there's a scarcity of membership numbers or anything.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

AFF Supporters can remove this and all advertisements

It is in the T&Cs. dormant accounts expire.

If there is no business relationship I guess they are being Singaporean efficient. The business value of unused, unknown web signups has probably expired if they haven't tempted you to travel with them in three years of monthly communications.

You will still get their emails though.. Mine expired @ a year ago.
