Hi! I'm travelling PER to MEL in economy class soon, and I have the choice of three flights at the same price:

QF772 on an A330-300;
QF802 on an A330-200; or
QF476 on a 767-300.

I don't really mind what time I travel, so: which would be the better flight? The last couple of Qantas flights I've been on have had the old-style entertainment systems (roof-mounted screens), and I'd quite like to get the seatback systems if possible. Other than that, if you have a plane preference between those three, I'd love to know!

Thanks :)

Welcome to AFF.

ll airbus aircraft in the QF fleet offer AVOD (audio video on demand). The 767 has mainscreen entertainment.

I believe the A332s are newer but either of them are fine in economy (although the A332s have a better entertainment system).

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Anything but the 767 offer personal IFE for the flights you have quoted.

If you get the domestic 330-200, you'll get the newer touch screen IFE. Some like it some get annoyed by it. The 330-300 has the older personal IFE which is controlled by your remote in your seat.

Except if you are lucky enough to get the 767 taking part in the iPod trail. But at 1 in 22(?) odds of getting that plane it is better for the OP to choose an A330.
