As the title says.... When one books an award ticket using miles from one *A airline program, to travel on another *A airline.... which airlines "stock" is the ticket issued on? I hope to book on OZ using AV's LM program.... but (due to Restricted baggage) have been told I must be on "Asiana Stock" (988?)

I feel I should know this......

With *O it is the ticket issuer's stock.

I've had several tickets issued by AA for QF flights on 001 tickets.

Hope its the same ...that WOULD make sense... but I can't afford to be wrong....

Same as oneworld, LM's ticket stock is used for partner awards. (Applies equally to other star carriers... UA's FF program issued UA stock for travel on say TG or LH etc etc)

Damn.. I read that answer wrong...I saw what I wanted to!! But.that's not the answer I was hoping for.... I will have to call OZ again and see if that is....negotiable.
