Hi all
My partner and I are going to take advantage of Qantas Economy sale on Classic awards in January.

Does anybody have any recommendations of sidetrips from Dubai to add into our booking for 3-4 days? Current plans are:

Melbourne - Dubai - Seychelles - Singapore - Melbourne

I would love to visit Jordan, but it appears to difficult to see in January due to likely inclement weather.

Grateful for your thoughts

I have been a few times for work and considered it. Do you know of any reasonably affordable tour companies?

Afraid not. Looked at going there a couple of times for an extended long weekend, but never managed to pull it off.

Bit further afield - but Emirates fly to Cyprus and Malta. Could be worth a 3 or 4 day visit.

I've not been to either, but examined both for a similar possible add-on a while back.

Great calls. Loved Malta, I had friends who lived there and it was a peaceful few days (if you exclude the horrific driving). I hadn't considered Cyprus at all. Definitely an idea for the future.

My partner has decided that she would rather do a side trip out of Singapore, so she's put the idea to bed. Now to just wait on Qantas to call back as the tickets wouldn't process online (which has me worried).

Hoping to get to both places one day...

Side trip out of Singapore - my pick would be Sri Lanka.
