Where to credit my flights? Flying QF, AY & CX

A question regarding FF programmes. The Mrs. and I have booked our flights for a conference (and side trips) next year and I was wondering where we should credit the flights. They are currently pointed towards QFF and I am wondering if it is better sent somewhere else.

The itinerary (all in I) is:
SYD - SIN on QF
SIN - HEL on AY
HEL - AMS - HEL on AY
HEL - HKG on AY (A350 yay!)
HKG - SYD on CX

As mentioned previously we have decided to travel more as of this year. We have reached SG for Velocity...(still deciding if I should push for the 150SCs by Feb to get WP).

Thanks in advance for any advice that will further our travelling enjoyment in years to come.

Note: We went with *O as AY had an amazing price for our planned itinerary.

Keeping in mind the minimum flights to hit QF PS/SG, what are your travel plans for later this year / early next and will all fall in to the same QF status year?

I've been reading about the Schengen and non-Schengen lounges in other threads. So I'm looking forward to it.

My membership anniversary is 30 Nov so it should give me about 8 months to build something up with QFF.

Likely to be a domestic leg to MEL in August (or SFO if wallet and SO permits) and perhaps one across the ditch in October for conferences. The next big OS conference is back in the U.S. in March following year — we won't know where until it's announced in HEL. Possibly a trip to Japan for the SO somewhere in between.

Most trips will be self-funded in J depending on who has the best price. Considering pushing for Velocity WP for a soft landing the following year.

Ah ok sure. So I suppose the question then is are you looking for OW status or FF points to use for a future trip?

Are your SYD-SIN/HKG flights coded QF and CX, or are they AY codeshares?

Status wise, if it's all AY coded, the calculator shows 400 QF SCs, 460 if the QF flight is QF coded. So if some of your other legs went ahead as mentioned and you took QF, you could be hitting gold.

Miles wise crediting to AA could get you around 25,000 which would get you a domestic QF J flight (one way) within AUS/NZ, can be lucrative if it was PER>SYD>AKL or similar.

Edit: Just saw this thread, if you are after AA status, it could be worth your while.
