Have just got on VFF to check seat release availabilty and the " reward" columns for economy, PE and business are gone, not even a column showing "sold out" . Back dated a few dates and all gone. Does this mean that ALL reward seats have to be booked over the phone and not online anymore?

There is a "View in Points" button top right above the fares that toggles you into points, or points+pay. The button then becomes "View in Currency" to toggle back.

... either that or click the check-box "Use Point + Pay" before searching.

I do see what you mean - when searching LAX-BNE in business or premium the site is only showing the "Points+Pay" options ...

However, it appears that now happens when there is no Reward availability for any of the options shown.

Whereas it used to show blank/empty columns under "Premium" or "Business" rewards, these columns simply do not show.

e.g. Look at BNE-LAX on Oct 27, then check LAX-BNE on Oct 20.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

have always been selecting the points + pay option. the columns that do show i.e. premium saver, business saver, are in points on the screen so that button has been checked.

To re-iterate, it has changed just in the last coupke of days.

Now, when looking for international premium rewards, 3 columns means there are none being offerred for that day.

If there are four or five columns then these awards are available (four means availability in either of premium or business, five means availability in both).
