Hi
just made a booking on AA.com for FLL to DFW. I made the booking while logged into my AA Advantage account, but where do I enter my QFF number to ensure I get QFF status credits and points for the flight.

I have flown this route before and receive SC and points to my QFF account, but I can't remember if I did anything extra for this to happen automatically.

Should I ring AA to get my QFF number allocated to my AA flight, or do I enter my QFF number somewhere in my AA Advantage account to ensure the points and SC get allocated to my QFF account as I don't want them to accrue to my AA Advantage acct.
thanks

Sounds like it really was easier to just book them without logging in.

The six flights I have taken so far (7&8 May) have all posted including the one where I was delayed overnight.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

AFF Supporters can remove this and all advertisements

If you put your AAdvantage number in, you will need to call to have it removed. Once that is done, you can put it back on aa.com.

When booking, it gives you the option to replace your AA number qith another.

Thanks for the information. I rang AA and they removed my AA number and replaced it with my QFF details. On the next booking with AA Ill be aware to change from the default AA to QFF program., or just not login to AA at all to make the booking.

thanks again.

And also make sure the fare you have booked is eligible to earn points/SC's on QF; not all AA fares are!

If it is a SC need with QF, I would double check when getting your BP with AA, or if connecting the AClub can check for you, if your QF number is on the boarding pass, never an issue. Once you have flown without the QF number on the BP it is almost impossible to do anything about it.
