Hi guys im flying business class (first time ever yay) with virgin from Gold Coast to Melbourne and then to Hong Kong. I have American express platinum charge card + priority pass + whatever lounges I Can access with business class ticket. Any suggestions? I've never tried any of the AMEX lounges, never been to melbourne or hongkong international airports. I was thinking the following

OOL: Virgin lounge only
Melbourne: Amex lounge vs virgin lounge vs apparently I can access etihad?
Hongkong: Amex centurion lounge, not sure if I should try another one as well?

Thanks!

MEL T3 VA domestic terminal - since it's your first time, take a quick look around VA domestic lounge upon arrival from OOL prior to making your way over to the international terminal if you have time to spare

I’ve read some mixed reports on the HKG Club Autus lounge on here but personally I found it quite pleasant. Nice showers and bathroom facilities, pretty decent F&B and comfortable seating.

Anyone think they are better than the AMEX lounges? I guess I could try and go to both!!

Haven’t been to the AMEX lounge but I believe it’s in T1 so you would need to allow some time to get between the lounge and gates.
The Club Autus lounge is in the midfield concourse which is where the VA gates are so its only a minute or two from the lounge to the gate.
Could definitely try both

Awesome. I fly out to Canada the next day with air Canada so perhaps I'll try the Amex centurion lounge before that flight since that leg is in economy!
