Virgin Bus. Syd to Bali lounge access etc

Hi there, My wife and I are travelling to Bali with Virgin in business. I'm most often a qf flyer (don't hold that aginst me!) so I'm after some advise/ tips on things such as lounge access options, seat selection etc and any other helpful hints.

Normally they fly 737's to Bali. Seat's don't matter too much, I pick row 2 on a 737 in J.. Not very exciting.

As for lounge options, in Bali I think you'll have access to the JAS lounge. You'll be able to find out what lounge you have access to depending on your departure port from here. Most likely ANZ lounge.

Thanks, thats more or less what I thought. We're flying from Sydney, wasn't sure if we could access the Etihad lounge?

From memory I believe Etihad lounge is only available when travelling to Abu Dhabi, anyone able to confirm?

correct EY lounge access only when travelling to AUH on either EY or VA.

for DPS it will be the NZ lounge that can be used in SYD

looks like it according to AusBT:

even then, only the day flight you get access to the lounge, the evening flight doesn't.
